Fluensee ("we", "us") operates fluensee.io and the Fluensee platform — a marketplace where brands and creators find each other and collaborate, trading creativity for experiences, products, and payment. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions any time: hello@fluensee.io.
Waitlist: your email, whether you're joining as a creator or a brand, and (optionally) your city — used to plan launch markets.
Account & profile: email, password (stored only as a secure hash — never in plain text), name, username, account type, profile photo, bio, website, and — for creators — creator type, skills, and niches; for brands — industry and campaign goals. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.
Location: the city you enter on your profile or a project. We convert it to approximate (city-level) coordinates to power local discovery — we never collect precise GPS location.
Social platforms: the handles and follower counts you add, and — if you verify ownership — a temporary code check against your public bio.
Collaboration activity: projects, applications and pitches, messages, uploaded deliverable files, and reviews. Overall ratings, review tags, and testimonials are public; detailed review scores and private feedback are visible only to the two parties involved.
Tracked content: for posts linked to a collaboration, we retrieve public engagement metrics and public comments via the platforms' official APIs. We never access private accounts or messages on other platforms.
Technical: login cookies to keep you signed in, and IP addresses held briefly for security and rate limiting.
We do not sell your personal data, and we don't run third-party advertising.
We use a small set of providers to operate Fluensee, each receiving only what it needs:
Fluensee uses YouTube API Services to retrieve public video statistics and comments. By using those features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Fluensee is a browsable marketplace: your public profile (photo, name, bio, skills or industry, portfolio, ratings and review tags, social handles, and city) and public projects are visible to anyone, including visitors who aren't logged in. Your email, password, private review feedback, messages, budget figures, and notification settings are never public.
You can opt out of appearing in the directory and search results in Settings — your profile then remains reachable only by direct link.
To delete your account and personal data, email hello@fluensee.io — we'll complete deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal reasons.
You can access and edit your profile data in the app, control notification preferences, and opt out of the public directory — all in Settings. You may also request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing us. If you're in a region with specific privacy rights (such as the EEA, UK, or California), those rights apply to you and we'll honor them.
Fluensee is for users 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
We'll update this policy as Fluensee evolves. For material changes we'll notify you by email or in-product before they take effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
Privacy questions or requests: hello@fluensee.io.
